On a recent trip to Fiji we visited the gorgeous island of Vorovoro, home to the Tribewanted project. This unique ecotourism venture invites people to join an online 'tribe' and have a say in the project's running. Members also get to spend some time on Vorovoro itself, and participate first hand in the development of Tribewanted. Since its founding in 2006 there has been a tremendous amount achieved, with the village on Vorovoro growing to include many traditional bure's (thatched huts), a kitchen, composting toilets, extensive gardens and renewable power. The project is all about sustainability and aims eventually to be fully self-sufficient. There is a strong cultural element too, with many wonderful, welcoming Fijian people working with the visitors and the Tribewanted team.

The World Will Come to Vorovoro is our take on what Tribewanted is about - the people, the project, the island, its atmosphere and our experience there. All the sounds used to make the music were recorded on Vorovoro and all the vocals and instruments were performed by local Fijians or tribe members.

This song will be available on the upcoming Vorovoro Sessions album.

The basis of Daylight Saving was dreampt up a few years ago by Georgie, losely based on an even older idea. A rough version lived on a Loop Station for a while, until the song was revived, dubbed up and polished off. This is the result!

In the Sunshine started off life in a hostel room in Alice Springs, Australia, where we were positively drowning in the stuff. Born as a spontaneous lyric and an absent beat, the song was then sketched out in the back of a van in Nelson, New Zealand, and finished off down the road in another hostel.
